Let’s Talk Natural Gas

C3 was approached to develop the materials to create a workshop similar to the Let’s Talk Mining™ workshop to address the needs of the Natural Gas sector. The workshop includes a full outline of the natural gas sector from tenure acquisition, early and late stage exploration, extraction, compression, transportation, well closure and reclamation. The workshop presentation is delivered in non-technical, every day language and is designed to generate and encourage frank, open and fact-based discussions of potential impacts and benefits that must be evaluated when considering natural gas exploration, extraction and transportation within First Nation Traditional Territories. These discussions are critical for potentially affected communities as they engage in reviewing and providing input and guidance to these planned and proposed activities. Communities will be able to play a more effective role in this planning if they have an improved understanding of the natural gas industry.
