Tom Fannin

Project Coordinator

With a background in qualitative research and writing, Tom has 3 years of experience in supporting major capital projects across multiple sectors in western Canada. As Project Coordinator, Tom is an accomplished communicator and facilitator and brings strong organizational skills to strategic engagement planning and negotiations, Indigenous relations, risk management, and permitting. Tom has specific experience with supporting the development of communication, engagement, and resource Agreements and Protocols between Indigenous leadership and resource companies. Regarding major-project support and implementation, Tom has resource development experience conducting contract fieldwork in central Alberta to support the construction of the Alberta Carbon Trunk Line: Canada’s largest integrated large-scale carbon capture, utilization, and storage system. Prior to working in the natural resource industry, Tom spent three seasons as the Communications and Safety Officer for the Jericho Sailing Centre.
