Geoff Freer has more than 30 years of diverse leadership and project management experience across a number of public and private sectors in Canada, including transportation, mining and minerals, forestry, environment, land use and adventure tourism. As a former Province of BC executive, Geoff was known as a problem solver and leader in supporting communities, the private sector and local governments across the Province. Geoff currently leads a consulting firm, Firth Group, managing the planning, approvals, development and implementation of large infrastructure projects. Some of his most critical files were serving as Vice President of Venue Construction for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Senior Advisor on the Evergreen Line Rapid Transit Project and Project Director for the rehabilitation of the Lions Gate Bridge, completion of the South Fraser Perimeter Road and developing the proposed George Massey Tunnel Replacement Project.
