Geoff Freer has more than 30 years of diverse leadership and project management experience across a number of public and private sectors in Canada, including mining and minerals, transportation, forestry, environment, land use and adventure tourism. As a former Assistant Deputy Minister responsible for the Mining and Minerals Division of the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, Geoff was known as a problem solver and leader in supporting the industry and communities across the Province. Geoff currently leads a consulting firm, Firth Group, managing planning, approvals, development and implementation of large infrastructure projects. One of his most recent critical files was serving as Vice President of Venue Construction for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
